In-person or on Zoom

We will celebrate the completion of the annual cycle of weekly Torah readings and the beginning of a new cycle.

All of the Torah scrolls will be taken out of the Ark and we will dance and sing with them in a joyous celebration that will start in the sanctuary and end up on Broadway in front of the synagogue.

After singing and dancing with the Torah Scrolls we will read the last Torah portion, V’Zot HaBerachah, at the end of the book of Deuteronomy (33:1-34:12), concluding the old cycle of Torah readings. This will be followed immediately by the reading of the first Torah portion, Bereshit, at the beginning of the book of Genesis (1:1–2:3), starting a new cycle of Torah readings.

Everyone, who wants one, will get an aliya.
